sneak attack, part 2: swoop!

That is the sound (I hope) of me coming in and swooping salsa right out from under my sister's nose...

I had the most stupid day at work, so it was delightful to come home
and think about nothing more complicated than whether I had too much orange in my squares and whether the seam was right at 1/2 inch (to answer both questions, probably, and probably not. I'm a sloppy quilter). Anyway, I worked for 4 hours and 20 minutes, cutting a bunch of new squares and sewing 10. The exciting thing about that particular number of squares is that is means I am exactly halfway done; I've made 72 so far. See the pile on the right? I've got the fabric cut for another 3, so hopefully I'll keep some of this momentum and finish this before the end of the decade (or at least the next one!).

Ok, 13 hours, 20 minutes for me to close out our third competition! Lame, but a lot less lame than last week. What've you got, big sister?
